Over the last eight years, Grace Church has participated in Project Bread's WALK FOR HUNGER. The Walk for Hunger is an annual fundraiser which supports over 400 soup kitchens, food pantries, food banks and food salvage programs in Massachusetts.

Each year, on the first Sunday in May, Grace Church sends a team of 20-30 walkers to participate in the 20 mile walk through Boston, Newton, Watertown and Cambridge. Family, friends and parishioners financially support the walkers.

In the weeks leading up to the Walk, the church's Sunday School also has a number of classes dedicated to educating the children about world hunger. This helps prepare the children and their families for the Walk.
